1968 – 1976

During his time at the college, Robert was a chapel steward, & member of the Guild of St Martin, School prefect obtaining his first team colours in all 3 major sports, captain of cricket in 1976. Playing representative cricket for Middlesex CCC. In 1976.
Robert studied Furniture Production & Management at High Wycombe College of Furniture. During his working Life, held a number of senior management positions, his last position being National Manager for the Tool Hire & Construction Sector, for the UK & Ireland, for Saint Gobain Abrasive until he took early retirement at the end of 2018.
Robert was a member of the Old Dovorian Club Committee 1978 to 2006 and captain of the OD Club cricket team for 21 years.
Robert is now a volunteer case worker for SSAFA, “the forces charity”, which gives support and help to veterans, serving personnel, and their families.
