DESCRIPTION:Final Fixture of the Year: Lamberhurst Golf Club – Thursday 16th October 2025 \nWe’re delighted to announce that our final official fixture of the calendar year will take place at the picturesque Lamberhurst Golf Club on Thursday 16th October 2025 — please note this is a revised date from the printed fixture card\, as previously advised by email. \nNestled across both banks of the River Teise\, Lamberhurst offers a stunning parkland course with sweeping views of the Kent and Sussex countryside — a fitting backdrop for our closing event of the season. \nSchedule for the Day \n\n10:30 AM – Arrival with Coffee & Bacon Rolls\n11:30 AM – Tee off from the 1st tee (18 Holes)\nPost-round – Enjoy a hearty 2-course meal featuring Roast Pork and seasonal fruit crumble\nFollowed by – OD Prize Giving and the ODGS AGM\n\nT:- For venue details: 01892 890 591\nW:- Visit: www.lamberhurstgolfclub.com \nCost & Booking \nThe charge for the day — including prizes — is £85\, a generous reduction of £25 from last year’s Knole Park event.\nElectric Trolleys (£10) and Buggies (£30) are available from the Pro Shop — please book early to avoid disappointment. \nCompetitions & Prizes \nWe’ll be competing for the prestigious President’s Cup\, awarded to the player with the highest stableford score — assuming the trophy has recovered from its unfortunate mishap\, as reported in The Times (2024). \nAdditional prizes include: \n\nBest Individual Stableford Score – The Dawes Cup and Captain’s Prize\nTeam Competition – Best two stableford scores per hole\, totalled\nNearest the Pin – 7th Hole\n\nConfirm Your Attendance \nIf you’ve already expressed interest\, your place is considered confirmed unless you notify otherwise by Friday 12th September (as the club requires final numbers).\nFor everyone else — please check your diary and let us know by 12th September if you’re able to join us.
