His deep passion for cricket and dedication to the Old Dovorian community made a lasting impact\, and it is inspiring to see both clubs honouring his legacy with the GRH Memorial Trophy\, planned as an annual tradition. \nThe day is more than just cricket—it is a celebration of Rupert’s love for the game\, fun\, and family. Old Dovorians\, their families\, friends\, and past and present staff of Dover College are encouraged to attend\, making it a true community event. With a rich history and the unmistakable charm of traditional links golf\, Littlestone offers players an unforgettable experience. In 1997\, several new tees—at the 4th\, 7th\, 9th\, 11th\, and 12th holes—were introduced to further challenge elite golfers\, particularly during Open Qualifying. DESCRIPTION:The Old Dovorian Armed and Reserve Forces Group\, in conjunction with the Old Dovorian London Group are holding a “Summer Drinks” Event on board HMS Wellington\, which is moored on the banks of the River Thames opposite Temple Tube station. \nThis is and “Open Door ” event\, however It would be very much appreciated if you could register your attendance via this LINK so that the organisers can understand who is coming to ensure that those attending can be signed in  when boarding. \nSo why not come along and enjoy a few drinks in good company on the 1/4 deck of this “Ship of the line”\, to renew old friendships and make new friendship with form pupils\, staff and current members of staff of Dover College. \nHMS Wellington was launched in 1934\, and took part in the evacuation of Dunkirk and Atlantic Convoy escort duties\, helping to keep supply routs open between America and Great Britain. \nPLEASE NOTE:- Dress code for this event will be smart\, this means for gentlemen Jacket and Tie
