Yesterday evening, the Old Dovorian Club Kent Group held their informal Christmas get-together at the Red Lion in Dover, attended by 11 Old Dovorians.

Several ODs traveled down from London specifically for this event, which was really good. It was particularly fantastic to see Rupert Hill, a vice president of the Club (Staff 86 – 21), who looked well, especially after his recent health problems.

They all had a lovely evening reminiscing about old students and teaching staff of Dover College. Unfortunately, time flew by, and before anyone knew it, it was time to depart.

Paul Spencer (L01 – 06) and Robert Craft (S01 – 06) are planning an informal dinner and drinks in December with a few who could not attend due to personal or work commitments. More information will be published in due course.

Those who attended were Rupert Hill, Jack Woods, Paul Spencer, James Spencer, Robert Craft, Chris Craft, Franck Blewer, Olie Mahony, Igor Tkachuk, Mike Vanderhoeven, and Victor.

A big thanks must go out to everyone who attended, and in particular, Paul and Robert for organising this event.
