The Rupert Hill Memorial Cricket Match
The Memorial Cricket Match on Sunday, 13th July 2025, held by the Old Dovorian Cricket Club in partnership with Folkestone Cricket Club, is a beautiful tribute to Rupert Hill. His deep passion for cricket and dedication to the Old Dovorian community made a lasting impact, and it is inspiring to see both clubs honouring his legacy with the GRH Memorial Trophy, planned as an annual event within the OD Cricket Club and Folkestone CC fixture list.
The day is more than just cricket—it is a celebration of Rupert’s love for the game, fun, and family. Old Dovorians, their families, friends, and past and present staff of Dover College are encouraged to attend, making it a true community event. A BBQ, refreshments from the pavilion, and free parking will be available at Folkestone Cricket Club, Three Hills Sports Park, Cheriton Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT19 5JU.
