James Ryeland (M76–81), Vice President of the Old Dovorian Club, recently paid a special visit to the Royal Marine training cadet corps weekend camp at the historic Citadel in Dover. Attending in his official capacity as Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Kent, James’s presence was a proud moment for both the cadets and our wider community
His visit not only highlighted the enduring connection between Dover College and the Armed Forces, but also underscored the values of service, leadership, and commitment that define the Old Dovorian spirit.
